Item Details
A sterling silver cocktail shaker by Manchester Silver Co. of Providence, RI (active 1887-1985). This piece features a cylindrical well with a flared base and a covered spout for straining, and a scrolled handle to one side, topped by a weighted dome lid. The underside is marked ‘Sterling 829’ below the maker’s mark. The total approximate weight, excluding the weighted lid, is 23.465 ozt.
Condition
- to fair; mild to moderate surface wear including marks, scratches, and some tarnishing; handle has denting, notably on the top section.
