Antique Elsmore and Forster Earthenware Pitcher and Bowl
Item Details
An antique earthenware water pitcher and bowl by Elsmore & Forester Potteries, circa 1853-71. This white glazed earthenware set features a melon ribbed pitcher with a scalloped edge, long handle, and with ‘Ceres’ wheat and cable detailing. The bowl features a ribbed interior. Both items include an impressed mark ‘Elsmore & Forester, Tunstall’ and ‘Ceres Shape’ in the registration diamond.

- small nicks on bowl.
- some craquelure to glaze.
