A mid-century still life oil painting on canvas titled Flowers by American artist Arthur C.C. Hill. The Fauvist-inspired piece depicts a glass vase filled with orange, red, yellow and cream flowers with long graceful stems, accented with green, aqua and blue foliage. The vase is depicted set upon a wooden table against a blue and cream background. The work is signed ‘ACC Hill’ in blue paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to poor; discoloration and accretion throughout painting, including streaked vertical stains throughout; heavy discoloration and staining to frame and linen liner; scuffing, wear and scratches to frame; no backing paper is present; foxing and discoloration to canvas verso.
