A Chelsea Boston U.S. Government 24/12 hour ship’s clock, serial #464900, circa 1940-1944. Designed with black Bakelite housing and dial with Arabic hour markers and white metal hands. Stamped to top ‘Chelsea Clock Co. Boston’ and to bottom ‘U.S. Government’, with engraved serial number. Back stamped ‘Chelsea Clock Co. Boston’
