A Japanese Kutani gold tone ceramic umbrella holder. The umbrella holder has a cylinder shape and features a gold tone finish with a blue and red motif. The holder features red bands on the top and base with gilded accents and images of figures in colorful robes with floral displays throughout and a scroll with an inscription in the center. Marked ‘Kutani’ (九谷) to the underside.

Condition

- large cracks and chips, has been previously repaired.
