A woodblock on paper after an original work by Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川 広重, 1797-1858), titled Moonrise Behind Monkey Bridge. The work depicts a figural Japanese landscape comprised of a distant figure passing through a bridge that crosses a watercourse. The piece is marked with a red seal an multiple Japanese characters to the upper right and lower left corner. An informational sheet from ‘Fuji Arts’ is included to this piece. The composition is presented beneath white matting, behind glass, housed in a wood frame with a black finish.
