A reproduction woodblock print on rice paper after Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige’s (歌川 広重, 1797–1858) Cherry Blossoms on the Tama River Embankment. This print depicts a group of people gathered on a dirt road wrapping through a grassy embankment, which is lined into the distance with lush cherry blossom trees. A wooden bridge extends to the lower right corner towards a fortified structure. The print and series titles are printed in the upper right corner and the artist’s signature is reproduced in-block in the lower left. The print is presented under acrylic glass beneath matting in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- foxing on white backing; vertical crease mark down middle of print; wear throughout frame.
