Vintage Bohemian Glass Egg Cordial Tantalus Set
Item Details
A vintage Bohemian style glass egg cordial tantalus set. This piece features a blue egg tantalus form with round foot and is decorated with a painted floral motif atop a gilded band. The vessel is hinged with brass tone hardware, opening to reveal a miniature glass decanter and five glasses. The decanter is made of clear glass with hand painted floral motif and glass stopper and the glasses are in various pastel colors. This set is dated to 1920-30’s and no maker’s marks are noted.
Condition
- chip to rim of decanter; missing one glass; wear to gilding; faint surface marks throughout.
