Vintage Krauss Grandfather Clock

A vintage Chippendale style Krauss grandfather clock, made by The Krauss Furniture and Clock Shop, South Amana, Iowa. It is model number 68359. The clock features a broken arch pediment with turned finial and molding details. Reeded columns frame the scalloped door. The clock movement was made in the Black Forest region of West Germany. It has a Tempus Fugit dial with Roman Numerals and quarter hour chimes. The lower apron has burl wood and the clock rests on bracket feet.
