Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Mir Serabend area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of burgundy, cream, black, red, orange, and black. It features a diamond shaped crenelated medallion on a field patterned with a mir-a-boteh pattern. The rug is framed with sawtooth guard borders and a serabend pattern main border. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso ‘Made in Iran’.
