Gorham and Hamilton Weighted Sterling Silver Compotes and Sterling Silver Dish

A set of two weighted sterling silver compotes and a sterling silver dish. This includes a Gorham Strasbourg weighted sterling silver compote with a repousse floral design around the rim. The compote bears the Gorham sterling silver mark with the words ‘Weighted reinforced with other metal’ below. This is presented with a Hamilton weighted sterling silver compote with a gadrooned band around the pierced rim. The compote bears the makers mark with ‘Weighted’ written below. The final item in the assortment is a small oval dish with a beaded trim and a personalized engraving in the center by Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. The dish bears the makers mark on the base and has an approximate weight of 1.040 ozt.
