Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Karaja Heriz wool rug. The rug has been worked in shades of crimson, ivory, indigo, cobalt, burgundy, coral, and blush. The rug features three similar medallions, the central one accented in ivory, surrounded by linear and stylized floral geometric motifs. The bands in the compound border include barber pole, floral, and lobed diamond devices. The selvedges are overcast and there is short fringe at each end. The rug is not labeled.
