An oil painting on canvas of a canal scene by contemporary artist W. Eddie (Hong Kong, b. 1955). This well-rendered painting depicts single-masted boats with drawn sails gliding across a body of water illuminated by sunlight. Seen to the periphery are rustic, European style buildings which span into the distance. To the lower left corner is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
