Item Details

A Mid Century Modern desk by Ward Furniture with a vintage Singer sewing machine. The walnut desk offers a rectangular tabletop, three drawers to either side of the knee hole, louvered drawers with vertical wood panels to the centers and dovetail detailing, and four tapered legs with circular feet. The desk is marked ‘Ward Furniture MFG Co’ to the reverse. The Singer Slant-o-matic sewing machine is a model 401A and features a stitch selector dial, needle thread tension control, a stitch regulator, a hand wheel, and a throat plate positioning lever. It is marked ‘Singer Sewing Machine’ to the metal medallion.
