1960s "Musical Jolly Chimp" Cymbal-Banging Monkey Toy

A circa 1960s-era Musical Jolly Chimp toy by Daishin C.K. This iconic battery-operated toy depicts a monkey in a yellow vest and red striped pants, holding a pair of gold tone cymbals in its hands; the toy is designed to bang the cymbals, glare, screech and bare its teeth. The battery cover is marked “C.K. Made in Japan.”
