Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a variegated palette of pale yellow, ivory, cranberry, taupe, and ochre. The pale yellow to ivory colored field features a large herati pattern scrolling throughout, and framed in a main samovar border, along with a pair of meandering ribbon guard borders. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
