A collection of five vintage pewter plates by Worcester. These plates are from a limited edition titled, Birth of a Nation, which commemorate the United States bicentennial in 1972. Each plate features a Queen Anne style rim with a scene in relief depicting a different monumental moment in American history, featuring the Boston Tea Party, Washington Crossing the Delaware, Signing the Declaration of Independence, Ride of Paul Revere, Incident at Concord Bridge. The undersides are stamped with the edition name, the individual plate depiction, the year, and ‘Worcester Pewter’.
