An oil on canvas landscape with bluebonnets by well-listed artist William Slaughter (1923-2003). This carefully-rendered piece depicts a landscape lined with trees and filled with a sea of blue flowers, rows of hills visible to the atmospheric horizon. This painting features a sky scattered with white clouds and is signed by the artist to its lower left. The piece is mounted in molded frame with a woven liner and a wire for hanging. There is an artist’s dedication dated ‘6/6/85’ to its verso.
