Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of slate, indigo, cranberry, cerulean, rose, and taupe. The slate colored field begins with five lobed diamond medallions, and features a floral theme with sprays and rosettes. Framing the field is a main border of a herati pattern, and floral minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a white cotton warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
