Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Lilihan Wool Long Rug
Item Details
A vintage inscribed hand-knotted Persian Lilihan wool long rug. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of indigo, carnelian, ivory, mocha, sky blue, sage, sepia, and apricot. The large indigo hued lozenged field features an all-over herati pattern with a central inscription, and carnelian grounded spandrels infilled with a single rosette. Framing the field is an Arab main border, along with a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
