Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Lavar Kerman wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, wheat, sky blue, and indigo. The open cranberry colored field features a diamond pendant medallion surrounded by floral sprays, and enclosed with deep spandrels grounded in sky blue, accompanied by boteh forms, and trefoil flowers. Framing the field is a palmette and boteh patterned main border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short ivory warp fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
