A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai area rug. This rug is hand-knotted in a palette of teal, plum , orange, tan, black, indigo, and green. It features a grid design with square shaped medallions and rosettes. It is framed with an interior border of diagonal lobbed flowers and a main border of a geometric leaf and calyx pattern. Finished with overcast selvedges and short fringe to either end. Marked to verso .
