An early to mid 20th-century cast brass sculpture after listed artist Antoine Pierre Aubert (1853 – 1912). The piece depicts a parrot perched atop a small foliage-covered tree branch, looking with alert gaze to one side. The work includes an etched signature of ‘Aubert’ to the stepped brass base. The sculpture is mounted to a square black marble base with beveled edge, lined with felt to the underside.
