A hand-knotted Persian Kashan area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of ruby, midnight blue, moss green, aqua,cream, coral, and black. It has a rounded almond shaped center medallion on a field patterned with curvilinear vines, palmettes, and lancet leaves. It is framed by floral meander borders and finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
