Three Hand-colored Engravings

A collection of three hand-colored engravings on paper. The first, printed in 1855, depicts a street map of Savannah, Georgia. It is presented behind a white French style mat, under glass, in a gold tone wood frame. A hanging wire and a label indicating the date and medium is attached to the verso. The second features a map of Maine, and the third depicts and industrial scene at a riverbank with the inscription ‘Detroit River, above the city’. Each is presented behind an off-white mat, under glass in a black and gold tone wood frame, ready to hang with a wire.
Condition
- light toning and scattered foxing to prints and mats. Minor wear to frames.
