A group of mineral and geode specimens. This group of three geologic specimens features a geode that displays an outer rim of banded cryptocrystalline quartz that grades into a zone of coarse crystalline quartz with subeuhedral to euhedral light purple quartz points projecting into the central cavity. Also included is an amethyst crystal specimen that displays medium purple euhedral crystals with the hexagonal prism with six sided pyramidal termination crystal habit and a card with polished and rough specimens of fifteen mineral, rock and fossil specimens marked ‘gemstones of the world’.
