Hand-Knotted Persian Arak Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Arak wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, ivory, sepia, wheat, cerulean, and clementine. The madder red colored field features an all-over lattice of boteh motifs, while framed in a main serabend patterned border, as well as a pair of chained box and diamond guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short ivory warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled to the underside.
