A 1908 ‘Wanted’ poster from New York City. This Wanted poster advertises for the arrest and conviction of Hugh Edward Grimes of New Haven, Connecticut, for absconding with a day’s receipts from the Nassau Electric Railroad Company, where he was employed as a clerk. The paper is printed in black letterpress on a white paper, with a halftone mugshot image of Grimes. The poster is presented under glass in a black painted wooden frame.

- discoloration to paper; crease across center; tears to edges of page; uneven trim to poster’s bottom edge; minor wear to frame.
