Vintage Arts & Crafts Humidor Attributed to Clifton Pottery
Item Details
A vintage Arts and Crafts earthenware humidor, attributed to Clifton Pottery in the Indian Ware pattern. It has Native American-style design on the shoulder in a dramatic black slip glaze, applied over an embossed leaf pattern. It has a gloss brown liner glaze and is unmarked. Clifton Indian Ware work is held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
