An oil painting on board signed ‘R. Fischer’. This piece depicts the campus of the Saxon ore mine Himmelsfürst Fundgrube, a cluster of buildings in a landscape of open fields. It is signed and dated 1930 to the lower left, with the name of the location to the lower left and additional date 1889. This work is presented in a painted white wood frame.
