Chinese Silk Embroidery Panels
Item Details
A pair of Chinese hand-stitched silk embroidery panels. These pieces depict flowers on red silk grounds, one with a blue flower and butterfly approaching the bloom, and the other with pink flowers on a thin branch. They are unsigned and finished with decorative ribbon borders, framing borders of silk brocade fabric, and silk back linings. They are presented unframed and have stickers to the verso stating they were made in China.
Condition
- some wrinkles from storage; discoloration to silk backing fabrics.
