Item Details
A hand coiled blackware pot by Santa Clara Pueblo artist Stella Chavarria. The pot features a deeply carved traditional Awanyu design to the body. It has a wide mouth and a slightly tapered ovoid body with a burnished black finish to the raised portion and matte black to the carved portion. The pot is signed ‘Stella Chavarria Santa Clara’ to the underside.
