A hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of sky blue, pastel pink, fawn, cerulean, magenta, and cream. It features a scalloped diamond shaped central medallion surrounded by arrangements of flowers and leaves on a cream colored field. The corner brackets are grounded in pastel pink and blue with scrolling vine and boteh designs . It has compound guard borders of triangle and carnation meanders with a main border of Shah Abbasi style palmettes and flowers. Finished with fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
