A 2010 oil painting on canvas board by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (1939-2010). This Impressionist style painting depicts a woman in quarter-pose adorned in a gold necklace and red top, who stares towards the viewer with a slight smile on her face against a textural, earthen tone background. To the lower right corner is a painted signature. This painting is held in a gilt wooden frame with handwritten information to the verso.
Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992.
