Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Lamberan wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, coral, indigo, ivory, gold, and azure. The crimson colored field features three cruciform style medallions, along with flowering branches, and layered spandrels, all geometrically shaped. Framing the field is a main curled leaf meander border, along with a pair of meandering ribbon guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short ivory cotton warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
