A restrike etching on paper after Édouard Manet (1840-1926) titled Charles Baudelaire, de Face. This bust length portrait depicts the French poet wearing a suit and bow tie. This work is signed in plate to the lower right and in plate inscriptions are present below the image. It is presented behind glass in a white mat and black wood frame. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.

Condition

- some discoloration to paper and mat; stain to mat at lower left; abrasions and wear throughout frame.

Dimensions

- measures frame; plate marks measure 3.25" W x 3.75" H.
