Hand-Knotted Kazak Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Kazak wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, ivory, powder blue, rust, pale yellow, and charcoal. The indigo colored field features a pole of hooked diamond medallions, along with ashik, and rosette motifs. Framing the field, only to the edges is a main two-petal calyx meander, along with a chained pattern. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
