Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan Carpet runner. This wool rug begins with a floral diamond medallion worked in teal, rose, navy, magenta, black and hues of green over ivory. It features an attached Shah Abbasi pendant on each end along with a curvelinear herati pattern to the abrash watermelon field. Spandrels are offered with large floral infilled boteh in ivory grounded in teal. Framing the field is a herati main border flanked by canation meander guards. Selvedges are overcast in stripes, the rug finishing with ivory warp fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
