A hand tinted photograph attributed to Honolulu photographer James J. Williams, titled Poinciana Regia. This photograph depicts the aforementioned tree growing at the center of a sloped hill, sprouting lush red flowers with tropical trees surrounding it. The photograph is presented under glass beneath matting inscribed with a handwritten title, signature and location, reading ‘Honolulu’. This is placed in a natural and red tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
