A National Prohibition Act whiskey prescription. This prescription form provided to doctors by the Internal Revenue Service for the medicinal use of alcohol during prohibition was issued to Charles Owens on April 9, 1927 for one tablespoon of whiskey every four hours. The prescription form is marked ‘Book No. 0221020’ and ‘blank no. 13’ and is presented under glass in a wooden frame.
