A group of four Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center mural panels. The group features a four-panel abstract underwater scene with applied accents.

In 1993, location B of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital opened with art designed by Eva Maddox. Ms. Maddox was based in Chicago but was a graduate of DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. The theme of the art was environments and each floor had a level that pertained – the seas, the plains, the mountains. There was an extensive, vibrant mural on B-1 that introduced the theme. These panels are from the introduction mural.

Condition

- minor chipped and loose laminate.

Dimensions

- measured as a group for shipping. Each panel measures 24″ × 24″ × 1″.
