Hand-Knotted Persian Karaja Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Karaja carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of cranberry, cerulean, moss green, white, red, emerald green, orange, and charcoal. The field is patterned with alternating cruciform and hexagonal shaped medallions with hooked curl trim. Triangular leaves, pinwheel rosettes, and grid motifs dot the rest of the field. It is framed with borders of triangular meanders, linked squares and lobbed flowers. Finished with overcast edges and short fringe to either end.
