Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Luri tribal area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted is a palette of red, slate-blue, cream, black, indigo, and black. It has three rhomboid and hexagon pole medallions with curled hooked edges and it is surrounded by a border of chicken motifs. The corner brackets are patterned with circular rosettes and hooked diamond medallions. It has diamond medahil guard borders and a bird head pattern main border. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
