Hand-Knotted Central Asian Wool Mat
Item Details
A hand-knotted Central Asian wool mat. The small carpet has been woven in shades of navy, emerald, scarlet, ivory, gray, and fawn. It features a pattern of red diamonds edged in green and ivory on a navy field. The field is framed in reciprocal sawtooth borders which abut an unresolved ivory border infilled with red floral motifs. The selvedges are ovecast and there is short fringe at each end.
