Item Details
A handwoven embroidered Baluch carpet runner. This runner is featured with an all-over diamond pattern consisting of hooked devices. It is worked in a pallet of magenta, white, orange, navy and black. The hooked pattern is hand embroidered over the black field, framed with S and triangular motifs over white. Selvedges are double overcast in a checked pattern in magenta and orange. Wide panels at each end have three rows of barber pole stitching across and warp black fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
