US Navy Spyglass c. 1940 by Kollmorgen Optical Corp. with Case
Item Details
A vintage spyglass made for the U.S. Navy by the Kollmorgen Optical Corporation. This spyglass has lenses with 16x power of magnification, metal casing, and is marked ‘U.S. Navy, BU Ships, QM. 16-power, MK. I No. 3249, 1940’ to the casing. Its original wooden case is also included, with a brass plaque reading ‘Kollmorgen Optical Corp., 16-Power QUM Spyglass, U.S.N. BU Ships, Serial No. 3249.’

- discoloration, surface scratches, and general wear; untested.
