Item Details
A watercolor painting on paper by listed American artist D. Omer Seamon (1911–1997). This painting depicts a vibrant landscape with brightly colored autumnal foliage lining the edges of the rural road. The road functions to vertically bisect the lower half of the picture plane through the use of one-point perspective pulling the viewer’s eye to the pale blue sky resting on the horizon. This piece is signed to the lower left corner of the painting ‘Omer Seamon ’77’. It is presented in a wooden frame, under glass, and with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.

- minor wear to edges and corner of frame; dark paint stain to upper rail of frame.
