A hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug . This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of cherry, beige, sky blue, navy, coral-pink, and cream. It has a scalloped diamond shaped center medallion surrounded by a border of flower blossoms on a solid red field. It has a dense border of scrolling vines, palmettes, and flowers . Finished with overcast edges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
