Vintage Hoosier Cabinet from Marsh Funiture Company
Item Details
A vintage two-piece Hoosier cabinet from Marsh Furniture Company. The top cabinet features two blind-paneled cabinet doors flanking a frosted glass-paned cabinet above a tambour door. The left cabinet holds a flour sifter, the center cabinet opens to a shelf and the right cabinet has two shelves plus a wire shelf added to the door. The base is topped with a black-edged enameled surface hanging over a large blind-paneled cabinet door and three graduating drawers. The cabinet opens to a sliding metal wire shelf, a wire holder on the door and has black tiered-pulls on the drawers. The cabinet rises up on straight legs with shaped corner brackets on wheels. Stenciled on the back ‘NO 339 BLACK & WHITE’ and on the partial tag, ‘Marsh Furniture Company/High Point, North Carolina.’
