Maple Comb-Back Windsor Rocking Chair with Storage
Item Details
A vintage maple comb back Windsor rocking chair. The chair features a curved crest rail with prominent ears supporting the ‘comb’ having shaped crest rail and dowel spindles. One arm is serpentine shaped and the other is designed to hold the basket attachment. The seat is contoured with a shaped front edge over four splayed and turned legs attached to the rocker rails and joined by a turned H-stretcher. There are no visible maker’s marks.
